 How it works?

The lens is ultra wide-angle and uses strong visual distortion to create a full panoramic image. Fisheye lenses use unique mapping that gives images a convex appearance, instead of producing images with a straight line of perspective. The lens has a very short focal length, which widens the field of vision.

Camera with diagonal fisheye lens

These are the most common fisheyes that are found most often on security camera in Chicago. With a focal length of about 15 mm, they allow you to cover an English of 180 degrees and offer a full-size image.

Camera with circular fisheye lens

The rarer circular fisheye camera lens offers a 180 degree angle in all directions. Its focal length is approximately 8 mm. It has the particularity of displaying the recorded image on a circular view. The image is strongly distorted and distorted, the distortion being more or less accentuated depending on whether the objects are more or less close to the lens.

 Miniature fisheye lens
