We are hearing about this Coronavirus
too much, but it is good to repeat the good rules that help to stop the spread
and above all to protect ourselves.
The washing and hand disinfection are
the key to prevent infection. You should wash your hands often and thoroughly
with soap and water for at least 60 seconds and then dry thoroughly.
If soap and water are not available,
you can also use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer ( alcohol concentration of at
least 70%).
The heart of the precautionary action
is the reduction of the contagion opportunities ( interpersonal distancing of
at least 1 meter). Social distancing includes avoiding hugs, kisses, handshakes
with guests, as well as between staff members. The recommended minimum distance
is one meter, and it is advisable to avoid or keep anyone who coughs or sneezes
as far away as possible.

Respiratory hygiene means the behavior
to be followed when coughing or sneezing. It is recommended to cover yourself
with your elbow, or preferably with a disposable handkerchief (which must then
be thrown away immediately).
Use of the mask at any time of the day
(The use of the mask helps to limit the spread of the virus but must be adopted
in addition to other measures of respiratory and hand hygiene).
In the absence of masks, although not
provided for by any provision, the adoption of full face shields could be

heart rate of the same patient. The oximeter is a simple tool to use because
everything is automated and, for this reason, it can be easily used in the home
and not only in the medical and hospital setting. Furthermore, since the
measurement of oxygen saturation with the oximeter is a non-invasive and
completely painless method, the instrument can be used on any type of patient,
including infants, children and the elderly.

between patient and operator and without contact of the device with the
